ABOUT US

Breaking cycles. Healing families. One story at time.

At Safe Touch Family Counseling Center, we believe healing begins with safety, compassion, and understanding.

Founded by Glennesha Mudd—a West Louisville native, wife, and mother—our mission is to help families break generational cycles of trauma, especially those rooted in sexual abuse, secrecy, and shame.

We serve families of all cultures, dynamics, and backgrounds with trauma-informed care that honors each person’s story. Our center offers specialized treatment therapies including Play Therapy, EMDR, CBT, and Trauma-Focused Therapy—all tailored to support children, adolescents, and families facing trauma, grief, anxiety, and emotional distress.

Through counseling, workshops, and community education, we create safe spaces where children, parents, and caregivers can learn to breathe through tough moments, find their voice, and rebuild trust from within.

Whether you're navigating grief, trauma, or emotional challenges, we’re here to walk with you—offering not just support, but tools for lasting transformation.
